An image from the Metropolitan Museum Portfolio, published in an edition of 50 in 1976. Shore was the first living photographer to have a one-man show there, at the age of 24. An associate of Andy Warhol at The Factory, he continued his career in photography and education. While many of these early colour works have faded badly, and recent museum exhibitions have been of modern prints, this vintage example retains its tones to a marked degree. Published often, eg. in 'Uncommon Places', Aperture 2003; 'The Biographical Landscape', Hammer Museum Summer 2005 Calendar, etc.
