CAMERA LUCIDA's
Web site contains an assortment of albumens, cyanotypes, photogravures,
halftones, silver and platinum prints, snapshots, painted albumens
and press prints - many by known photographers. Our primary
focus is on the 19th to mid-20th century, with an emphasis
on vintage images of architecture, urban life and human
interest. Plans are to change these galleries regularly, so bookmark
the site, and check back from time to time. You're sure to find something
new!
Over the past few years CAMERA LUCIDA's clients have included dealers
and collectors in the United States, Canada, and further afield; museums
and commercial art galleries; professional photographers, educators,
lawyers, architects, media people, decorators, and the photo-buying
public.
Only a fraction of our inventory is represented here. If you're looking
for a particular image or unlisted photographer, we may well have
material on hand, or be able to locate it quickly. Send us the details
and we'll make every effort to help in your search.
Photographs are sold on a first come, first served basis. Prices are
in $US, with packing and shipping charged at cost. Bank drafts or
money orders are the preferred method of payment. Postal money orders
or cheques must clear before purchases are sent out. When ordering,
please use the E-mail order form or call or fax us directly.
