Chance
Brothers and Co. first order revolving light, eight sides. First
exhibited in Paris in 1867, Erected at Tearaght Island, Ireland,
in 1869. This image appears to have been taken at the Paris
Universal Exposition of 1867. Althought Delamotte apparently
did most of Chance Brothers work, Delmaet & Durandelle were
known for their photographs of the exposition, |
