officers and men form a human US Shield. Mole & Thomas did
a number of photos of this type - regimental insignia, profiles
of Presidents, etc. Here, they have positioned 4 men in the
foreground of each row, and 6 at the back, to minimize the effect
of perspective. Our scanner reduced the sides of the image.
It is in fact complete, with curved edgs to the shield. In an
archival mat. |
